This is a WW-1 M-18 helmet that was given a new paint job and liner and reissued in WW-2. The leather has dried up and most of it has been removed. Liner has never been taken out of the helmet and no attempt has been made to restore it. Paint has obscured the markings, but it is definitely a size 66 shell.
