This is an M-35 German helmet. Helmet was issues single decal with smooth paint. A careful inspection of the helmet shows some brush marks from a touch up or repaint during the war.
Liner is aluminum with the reinforcement on the sides indicating a 38-39 vintage although it is too tight to the shell to read the date. Liner is original, but came from another helmet. There are traces of green paint on the liner band that did not get there while in this helmet. The rear pin came from another helmet, and liner string is not original. Shell is marked SE66 and 081

This helmet was previously listed on our consignment page. We recently puchased it and have lowered the price and listed it on this page where now has our best warranty.
