This is an original M-40 German helmet. Single decal Luftwaffe. Liner looks less used then the rest of the helmet. However all indications are that is is original to this helmet. Study of the wear and tear on the paint indicates it is probably from being on a closet shelf for 60 years. Guaranteed original WW-2 other then the liner string which is just an old string,, but better then nothing at this point.. Numbers are hkp62 and 1501
