| This is an original German helmet from WW-2. It is an M40 single decal army issue. It is a recent estate purchase and has not been messed with. Chinstrap is original to this helmet, there is an extra hole near the tip as shown in a photo below. No appearant maker mark. leather is strong and pliable. Liner is original to the helmet, leather is heavy early war type and is in excellent condition. pins have not been tampered with. maker marked Q64 and T698. Guaranteed 100% original. e-mail
